Kate Ashfield
She has performed in numerous plays associated with the In-yer-face theatre movement, including Blasted and Shopping and Fucking, and was invited to speak on the subject at the University of the West of England’s 2002 In-Yer-Face?: British Drama in the 1990s conference.

Key Ashfield
An exciting and distinctive voice, Kate Ashfield co-created and co-wrote the four-part event drama series BORN TO KILL with Tracey Malone for World Productions & Channel Four. It was broadcast to critical acclaim in 2017 earning an RTS Award nomination for Best Mini-Series as well as a Welsh BAFTA award for actor Jack Rowan’s chilling performance. A four star review in The Telegraph called the show “…clever, unsettling and original… a fearless exploration of teenage amorality and alienation.”
As a solo writer, Kate created, wrote and executive produced THE MAN IN ROOM 301 a brooding, psychological thriller for Warner Bros which was a commission from Finnish SVOD platform Elisa. It was broadcast in December 2019 to brilliant reviews and audience figures. The highest rating show over the Christmas period and over all highest rated show on the channel ever. The show was also selected for Cannes Series TV festival in competition as one of the top ten international shows.
Bio
Gary Love
Gary has over three decades of experience in the screen industries, both as an actor and as a director of films, TV series, serials and commercials. Gary directed the Edinburgh Film Festival nominated British low budget urban thriller “Sugarhouse” (2007) starring Andy Serkis, Ashley Walters and Steven Mackintosh. He also project-led the Emmy award winning “Waking the Dead” for the BBC. He has just finished directing “The Following” (2015), a Warner Brothers drama series for the Fox network, starring Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy.
